Yes, and regularly. The Skin Room is co-ed. We have a facial built specifically for men's skin, and men book brow shaping, waxing, and full facials here every week — often while their partner or kid is getting a haircut next door.
Jada is our full-time esthetician and handles facials, waxing, and makeup. Jess sees a small number of returning clients on select mornings. When you book online you can choose whose calendar you'd like.
Some skin purges briefly after a first deep-cleansing treatment, especially with congestion. That's normal and short-lived. Tell your esthetician about any sensitivity or past reactions and the treatment gets adjusted.
Come with clean skin if you can, and skip strong exfoliants or retinol for about 48 hours beforehand. If you take prescription skin medication — especially Accutane or a prescription retinoid — tell us when you book, since it affects which treatments are safe.
For most skin, every four to six weeks. Skin turns over on roughly a month-long cycle, so consistent appointments are where the real change happens. A single facial feels great — a series is what shifts texture and tone.
Yes — that's one of the most common ways people book here. Reserve the skincare appointment and the haircut separately for the same time slot, and everyone gets taken care of in one visit.
Yes. Jada does bridal and event makeup, including trials before the day. For bridal parties, call the studio at (908) 888-2606 — group bookings are easier to arrange by phone than through the online calendar.
No. Both LuminFusion and dermaplaning have zero downtime. You can return to your normal day immediately after either treatment.
